We are having the Circle of Life Expo 2010 April 24 and 24 in Pensacola Florida. The Circle of Life Expo deals with the spiritual, physical, and metaphysical. The event is March 14 and 15 at the Interstate Fair Grounds. We have health screenings, vendors, speakers, exhibits, demonstrations, and door prizes. The American Red Cross Blood Mobile will also be on site. The Circle of Life Expo has chosen the Council of Aging and the Humane Society as our event charities. Give blood to the American Red Cross during its Bloodmobile today from 2-7 pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 151 East County Road 42. Today’s the final day to order any plants for the GARAGE’s annual spring plant sale. Plants can be picked up at 10 am Saturday, May 2. The flowers and plants come from Holasek Greenhouse in Chanhassen. Proceeds benefit the youth center, the GARAGE in Burnsville. Congrats to Laura Garbe this year’s spelling bee champion in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District who was the runner-up in the 2009 Minnesota Seven County Metro Area Regional Spelling Bee March 14 at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul. An Edina student won the competition and will move on to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, DC Garbe is an eighth-grader at Eagle Ridge Junior High School and has qualified to participate in the Twin Cities Spelling Bee for the last three years.
